The 2013-2014 Patriot house hockey season has arrived!  Over 130 skaters will be skating under the Patriot blue this fall & winter across 10 teams.  We have also implimented a new Mini-mite program which should grow to four or five teams by the start of the 2nd session in December bringing our total Patriot numbers near or above 160. We are definitely looking forward to the addition of this program as it should help better prepare our young skaters for Mite house hockey!

Recognition of Accomplishment

I've always thought that the number one priority of the Patriots house program is develop hockey players and prepare them for the hockey life that lies ahead. With that in mind, we "sent up" over 40 kids to travel hockey this past season and I'd like to acknowledge the accompishment that those skaters achieved.  Hard work truly does pay off and it is important to recognize what an accomplishment this is for those skaters!  

Lastly, I'd like to individually acknowledge Ryan Echlin for his accomplishment of making the Milwuakee Jr Admirals AAA Squirt major team.  Participating on a fall/winter AAA team is to be considered a tremendous accomplisment as there are only four teams with the AAA classification in the state of Wisconsin.  Ryan played with the Patriots program for the past 3 years and was "home grown."  I consider his father Jim to be one of the founding fathers of the Patriots program.  Ryan's brother Andrew is currently playing with the Maulers so you'll likely still see them around the rink.  If you see them, please help me in congratulating Ryan on his great accomplishment.
