With the recent rule changes to mite hockey, we have redefined our Jr. Patriot program to closer mimic the structure of our North Shore House League program. For those who are not aware, in past seasons, our 5 & 6 year old skaters had the luxury of playing house hockey with all other U8 mite skaters. USA Hockey recently implemented a change which no longer allows those kids to play up at the mite level. As a result, we have decided to offer an all new program specific geared torward that age group.

Program Clarification

Please note this is not a Learn-to-Skate program. Kids are expected to have progressed through the hockey school prior to participating in this leage. All other skaters who wish to participate should consult the hockey supervisor.

Program Details

• Session 1 begins September 17, 2013 and runs through December 1, 2013.
• Sessin 2 begins December 3, 2013 and runs through February 23, 2014.
• Tuesday evenings from 6:45-7:45pm, Saturday mornings from 10:45-11:45a and Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:00pm
• Ages 8 & under (7 & 8 year old can still play with our traditional house league).  This is more for the U8 Mite skaters who are not quite ready for house league.  Players we feel that are too skilled for mini-mite may be asked to move to our North Shore House League
• Includes a team jersey, socks and a participation trophy!
